Ossie and Vida were devoted Members of the Sunshine Coast Orchid Society.

Ossie was President for a number of years and held this position with distinction. The Society prospered during his term of office.

Ossie died on the 6th September, 2000, Vida on the 23 May 1993.

Ossie grew and bred soft cane dendrobiums and cattleyas.

Vida loved her paphiopedilums, which she grew to perfection.

The growing of their orchids was a great partnership. Each took great delight in inviting friends to view their colourful displays. Their orchid houses were always open to the Members of the Sunshine Coast Orchid Society.

VALE: Ossie and Vida are together and will find much happiness and peace in the great Orchid Garden above.

A donation has been made to the Australian Orchid Trust Fund by the Sunshine Coast Orchid Society Queensland.
